Terms and conditions of sale

CARAT INVESTISSEMENT and CHALLENGE Pro are responsible for marketing and managing the Forum pour l’Investissement et du Partenariat 2025.  

CARAT INVESTISSEMENT is represented by Mr. Maxime KAZAGUI, former Minister of Communication, Spokesperson/CEO of Groupe CARAT Investissement.

CARAT INVESTISSEMENT and CHALLENGE Pro are hereinafter referred to as “The Organizers.”


Registration



To be valid, the original participation request form included herein must be sent to CARAT INVESTISSEMENT and/or CHALLENGE Pro by mail, fax, or email. If sent by email, it must first be scanned and signed before being sent. To be considered, all registration and reservation requests must bear the signature of the subscriber. The signature on the participation request form(s) constitutes a firm commitment to rent space and represents the signatory's acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale and the exhibition conditions. A deposit of 50% of the total amount due will be invoiced upon receipt of the participation request form. This deposit is payable upon receipt of the invoice in order to guarantee the reservation. No verbal or telephone agreement shall be binding on CARAT INVESTISSEMENT and CHALLENGE Pro unless followed by written confirmation. In any event, the balance for the exhibition must be paid by October 31, 2025, at the latest. Failure to pay the balance by this due date will result in the prohibition of use of the reserved space and services, without refund of the deposit paid. The allocation of spaces is made in the order of arrival of the participation, partnership, and reservation request forms, and is subject to full payment of the participation fees due, on the one hand, and the agreement of CAR, on the other. Once the locations and sections have been allocated, no changes may be made without the written consent of CARAT INVESTISSEMENT and CHALLENGE Pro. In all cases, the balance of the forum participation fee must be paid in full before the event takes place. No exhibitor will be allowed to begin setting up their exhibition space or to appear as an exhibitor or sponsor in the forum's publications until the balance has been paid. The exhibition plans are not contractual. They are subject to acceptance by Hilton hotel management and must also be approved by the fire safety services. CARAT INVESTISSEMENT and CHALLENGE Pro reserve the right to change the location, size, and layout of exhibition spaces if deemed necessary. In the event of a dispute, the Court of Bangui shall have sole jurisdiction.


Admission of applications


The Organizers reserve the right to refuse applications that do not meet the usual requirements and expectations, or for any other reason. They also reserve the right to limit or prohibit the use of the allocated space, in whole or in part, if it contravenes the brand image of the forum.

Payment


As the main organizer, CARAT INVESTISSEMENT is the only entity authorized to receive payments related to the exhibition. The deposit for the exhibition registration fee can be paid:

After confirmation of the sponsorship, service, or space reservation, any request to reduce the allocated service will be considered a cancellation request and governed by these cancellation terms and conditions. A reduction in the type of sponsorship or exhibition space may result in a change of location or presentation slot (at the discretion of the organizers). Failure to obtain a visa or customs authorization shall in no case constitute grounds for reimbursement due to cancellation or non-participation.


Payment on site


Exhibitors are required to comply with the regulations in force at the forum site and in the surrounding area, both in terms of public order and safety and security procedures. “The Organizers” will take appropriate action against any violators of these regulations. To this end, “The Organizers” are authorized to request the removal/modification of any structure that does not comply with the exhibition's internal regulations, or even to cancel an exhibitor's participation. The decision taken by “The Organizers” is enforceable.

Admission to the exhibition

Access to the exhibition is restricted. The exact conditions of access will be specified in a document sent to exhibitors at a later date or posted on the website.


Occupancy


Exhibitors are not permitted to share their allocated space with other exhibitors without the prior written consent of the organizers.

Insurance


The signatory waives any recourse against the organizers and owners of the premises and undertakes to take out the necessary insurance policies for all risks incurred by the equipment on display (theft, damage, etc.) as well as civil liability covering the permanent or temporary staff of their company present at the 2025 Investment and Partnership Forum. Under no circumstances will the exhibitor be covered by the insurance policies of the organizers of the Forum pour l’Investissement et du Partenariat 2025

Force majeure 


In the event of force majeure, the dates of the exhibition may be changed, or the exhibition may be canceled altogether. In the latter case, any sums remaining after payment of all expenses incurred will be distributed among the exhibitors in proportion to the sums paid by them, without them being able to take any action against the organizer or the producer.

Interpretation of the regulations and amendments in force


The company Forum pour l'Investissement et du Partenariat 2025 is the sole authority competent to settle any difficulties in the interpretation and application of these regulations. Any costs incurred as a result of non-compliance with these regulations shall be borne by the exhibitor. The organizers reserve the right to modify or supplement these regulations, but will notify exhibitors accordingly.

Technical Guide for Exhibitors


Each registered exhibitor will receive a “Technical Guide for Exhibitors” a few weeks before the event, and in any case, once the reservation deposit has been paid. This guide contains all the necessary information regarding the general terms and conditions, safety rules, stand assembly, and organizational requirements. It also includes a description of the stands, specifications, and plans. To meet any additional needs you may have, order forms and prices for the rental of furniture, decorative items, and other necessary services (telephone, electricity, transportation, storage, etc.) are also included.

Health and safety rules at work


Exhibitors must ensure that their service providers and employees comply with current health and safety legislation at work and that all equipment on display also complies with this legislation.

Third-party companies


The organizers will only communicate with third-party companies officially authorized by the exhibitors and sponsors of the event. The Organizers will not respond to requests for information from third-party companies that do not clearly indicate the company they represent. It is the exhibitor's responsibility to provide the exhibition secretariat with the full contact details of the third-party companies with which they work.

Press conferences  


Press conferences organized by industry players may only be held at times specified by the exhibition organizers. The exhibition secretariat must be notified of all planned press conferences, and all journalists must be officially registered in order to attend

Promotion at the Exhibition  


Promotion at the forum must be limited to the space allocated to the exhibitor or to the meeting rooms rented by the sponsor/exhibitor. The signing of a participation contract (sponsorship and/or exhibition or any other form of participation in the Forum) implies the signatory's commitment not to organize or promote conferences, congresses, or other events during the official duration of the exhibition program without the express agreement of the organizing committee. Companies exhibiting at an event other than the exhibition venue will have their participation automatically canceled without the Organizers being liable for any reimbursement of costs incurred. The Organizers of the exhibition reserve the right to prohibit access to rented locations.
